The starting point is the Mamertine Prison, located at the foot of the Capitoline Hill next to the Roman Forum. Head here first to redeem your Colosseum vouchers at the voucher office on level 1, at least 1 hour before your booked Colosseum timeslot. Alternative route: climb the steps to Campidoglio, cross the Piazza, go down the steps — the Mamertine Prison will be on your left hand side.
